October 17 Pictures as promisedPictures from Mobile Messenger are up. Take special note of Bowyn, who taught me how to sign 'Lebanese' and 'brother'. Since we are both half lebanese, I of course put some of my signing words together and took him in as my Lebanese brother. I'm so in love with this cast! If you met them you would fall too. October 13 Mobile MessengerOpening night went off! Thanks to all who attended and those who will be. Shout out to the cast and crew, family ad friends. Evidently, our backstage prayers were heard! Pics will be posted in the near future. October 03 19That's right, 19! It's a good number and it comes with a lot of new things, new hair do, new clothes, new jewellery, new guitar equipment. Most importantly, I got my very first Bulldogs jersey (courtesy of Rod and Ray who I cannot thank enough)! Thank you to everybody who remembered my b'day. Your messages were so sweet! You remind me of what a dodgy friend I am because I can never remember other people's birthdays, let's face it I barely remember my own. Know that I love you, and that I'm just a fool.
So you are dying to know about what my Bulldogs jersey and I have been up to right? Well today we played 'Spot the Outsider' in the city. It simply involved me walking down Macquarie St, to the State Library. You should have seen the looks! Priceless I tell you. I even got a boo from a car window. Okay, I could update you forever, but this essay isn't going to write itself.
God bless September 21 If you luff meSee my show!
It's called Mobile Messenger, and okay so maybe it's not technically MY show, but I do feature in it.
Until then, tan in your backyards, dance down the aisles of the supermarket, eat ice cream out of the tub and do any other quirky things that I do. It might just make me look normal in comparison.
God bless
September 07 Who's a sexy dog?Buddy is! And for that reason, I dedicate this post to him. Today, as I took him for a walk, he picked up and he wasn't even trying. A cute fluffy white dog followed him home. Of course it ended there, I wasn't going to let my dog get too close to an animal that only wants him for his good looks (goodness knows a lot of them are out there!) As much as I love my dog I must say he's put a little bit of Winter weight on. When he slims down for summer, he's going to be in even higher demand. Let's just say Buddy got back!
Anyway, my darlings I miss you like crazy and can't wait until stuvac. We will meet again, I will make time in my ridiculously booked out 'week off'. I'm even booked out on my own birthday, so sad but too bad. Not complaining though, LG- life's good. For all the Sefton people who are thinking of visiting, Khai and I are probably going on graduation day, come along :)
Enough from me! Love you and God bless August 30 They don't make em like they used toIt's so true with just about everything, especially with songs. I was so pleasantly surprised when I found some cd's that I put together about five years ago. As if that wasn't enough, I heard Richard Marx' 'Right here waiting' on the radio this afternoon. I was born in the wrong decade! Take me back. *Sigh* That song gets me everytime! Okay, I'll quit ranting about my mush, but don't even try to deny that you love that song.
It has really been good week. That could have something to do with Monday's decision, not to allow anything to get in the way of happiness. It could also be because things are just going well, many blessings have come my way. Either way I like it, and want to share the 'general awesomeness' (a term that I picked up in my Psych lecture on Tuesday) with the world
God bless August 20 Now I make even more noise! You know why? Because I have a guitar! Even if I find out that guitar playing isn't for me, I'll still be happy because this good looking guitar is the most beautiful shade of blue! Oh, and I'm shallow, so it works. I learned to play my song, you know the one, Mary had a little lamb. I thought that was a bit of breakthrough for my first day of guitar playing. I'm itching to be able to play properly, and I know it takes time, but that doesn't take away from my itchiness! I'm waiting for the day I can play at YAG, who knows may be even at church if I get any good at it. How excitement! Thanks to those who are assisting with the 'Mary can make even more noise' project. You'd be surprised at just how many people are supportive... I'm thinking maybe it's because the guitar could potentially drown out my voice. I highly doubt that. Huge day tomorrow, so I must love you and leave you.
God bless
PS- In regards to my last post, I can be grumpy! I admit, it's more cartoon character grumpy than I want to put things on fire grumpy... oh but I do like fire... Anyway, I'm entitled to being grumpy :D |
